Caribbean Chicken Burger
Can’t go to the Caribbean this weekend? Bring the taste home with this delicious Caribbean Chicken Burger.
Ingredients
1 pound ground chicken
1 (14.5 ounce) can Red Gold® Petite Diced Tomatoes W/Lime Juice & Cilantro, drained very well OR
1 (14.5 ounce) can Red Gold® Petite Diced Tomatoes With Chipotle, drained very well
1 egg, beaten
½ cup bread crumbs
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Set EGG for direct cooking at 350ºF/177ºC.
Combine ground chicken, Red Gold Tomatoes, egg and bread crumbs in a bowl. Form into patties and season with salt and black pepper.
Place on EGG and cook to desired temperature.
Makes four servings.
Special Accompaniments:
- Serve on toasted bun or lettuce leaf
- Guacamole, avocado or grilled pineapple slice
- Top with Mango Chutney or Fruit Salsa
