Step Into Swim & Round Up With Rowdy
We regularly support the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance’s Step Into Swim initiative. Step Into Swim is led by Olympic gold medalist, Rowdy Gaines, and provides grants for and funds free or low-cost swimming lessons to children, reducing drowning risk by 88%. This partnership helps provide lifesaving, confidence-boosting swim education to underserved communities.
Key details about the collaboration:
- Mission: To reduce drowning fatalities by providing access to swim lessons, as learning to swim from a qualified instructor reduces the risk of drowning by 88% for children ages 1-4.
- Impact: The Step Into Swim program has provided lessons to over 330,000 children since 2012.
- Fiesta Pools and Spas Involvement: As part of the swimming pool industry, they support the goal of increasing water safety and education through community engagement.
- Initiative Goal: The program aims to create more swimmers and promote safer aquatic environments.

The Porch Swim Team
Being part of the community is important to the owner and staff at Fiesta Pools and Spas in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We were excited to donate floaties to The Porch Swim Team. They were able to take 28 kiddos from the Selet Enat orphanage in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia swimming. IT was a day that none of them would forget.
